Come help us celebrate the 27th Annual Children’s Wish Foundation Giant Pumpkin Festival & Auction benefiting The Children's Wish Foundation Lethbridge & Area. There will be pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, plus many activities that the whole family can enjoy! This year the Giant Pumpkin Festival will be held on Saturday, September 24 at Green Haven Garden Centre (South Sunnyside Road). The fun starts at 10:00 AM and goes until 3:00 PM. There is no admission charge. The band, "Dory and the Weathermen" will be there to entertain. $5 kid’s wristband includes lots of children's games, a petting zoo, wagon rides, Astrojump, and face painting. There will also be a $5 pumpkin craft corner. The concession stands will be serving hot dogs, smokies, fries, cold drinks and of course, pumpkin pie with (real) whipped cream! The official weigh-off of the pumpkins will begin at 10:00 AM, with awards at 12:30 pm. Then at 1:00 pm, the live auction will start! There will also be a Silent Auction of many wonderful items.
